I agree with you Gary, NH should have put retractable seat belts in. I have a 35D, and there are holders for the ends of the belts when they are not in use, so they don't "bang around". But still...retractable would have been better.

Mike, I have a TC35D with an NH 84" belly mower...it was expensive but it works great. I mow around about 25 trees and the super steer/belly mower combo is the ticket.

I went through the same choice in spring 4400 or 35D. I choose the the 35D. IMHO the 35D is built better with better features. If dealers are both excellent, I'd place my money on NH. Terry and Bradey..I have the 84" deck. It slides in from the side which would work fine if you don't have the loader brackets on. With the loader brackets on you have to lift the front end with the bucket to get the mower under the tractor. Once under the tractor it attaches in about 15-20 min..first time it took me about 30-45min. I have been very impressed with the quality of cut..of course it can't match a mower specific machine but its close enough for my yard. If you have any questions let me know dweeb@voyager.net

Peter, sorry I have been out of it for a while to much work not enough fun time. Sitting here thinking about your question, I can't honestly remember if you can move the boom and bucket at the same time. I believe you can, but I will verify it this weekend. I have the loader off right now but will need to put it on again this weekend. Now the "quickly" question I can answer, both the Deere and the Kubota are faster at loader activities then the NH 35Ds. I remember going through the specs of comparable Deere's(4400) and Kubota(34XX) and both were faster in the print. However, IMHO experience is more important when using a loader then a few seconds in cycle times. The better you become at using the loader the faster the work will be and the less important a few seconds of cycle time are. I have seen people waste more time because they are not using one correctly, including myself at times ;)

Just got a price on a TC35D with FWD, turf-loaded, engine heater, rear worklights, arm-rest kit, and SuperSteer. Also includes 17LA loader with 72" HD Bucket, 7 foot rear blade, and 84" belly mower. Price delievered $23,770 before tax. What do you think?
